Year of the Fist
Year Of The Fist reaches from Oakland, California where there has been no shortage of great musicians and bands to play with or catch live on any night of the week. In 2011 three friends found themselves in a position to play in the same band instead of different ones. Together their musical backgrounds spanned the genres of blues, dance, punk, country, metal and folk but all have the love for rock and roll. This has led them to open for a wide spectrum of acts such as L7, Save Ferris, MDC, 88 Fingers Louie and Zeke to name a few. With 8 years under their belt as a band, Year Of The Fist has released two albums with a third on the horizon, multiple regional and international tours and several music videos with no end in sight. Year Of The Fist has wrapped up their 3rd album and planning a spring release. From the studio to the stage Year of the Fist’s show packs a punch but their music delivers the hits.
Teenage Bigfoot got their start in 2013 at Philly's first First Time's the Charm Fest. Since then, Tiffany, Joe, and Jake have sold their souls and committed their lives to bringing punk rock back from the dead with their unique approach to the classic 3 chord rhetoric all while leaving the rude dude experience behind. Drawing influence from the golden age (1994 or bust!), 90s garage rock, and goony SoCal skate punk, Teenage Bigfoot has shared the stage with Mischief Brew, Jeff Rosenstock, Masked Intruder, Tsunami Bomb, Navel (JPN), The Dolly Rots and the Dirty Nil. The band released the 7 track album “Do It or Don’t” in July 2019.
The Barren Marys
The Barren Marys are a punk rock band from Philadelphia that have been playing in and around the city since 2014. The four of them write songs that recall both the positive perspective of New York City hardcore in the 90's, as well as the to-the-point spirit of 80's punk groups. They’ve self-released two albums and a number of singles and 7” records on their own imprint Frankensense Records. Recently they’ve decided to team up with Violated Records and Suicide Bong Records for their newest LP “Wired Wrong.” Check it out on their bandcamp for more.
