Tsunami Bomb
Tsunami Bomb
Hailing from the town of Petaluma, CA., just north of San Francisco since 1998, TSUNAMI BOMB was the brain child of bassist Dominic Davi. Wanting to combine influences from the darker punk of Northern California scene, with the classic Southern California hardcore. TSUNAMI BOMB set itself apart from it's fellow bands early on with energetic and dynamic live shows, dual female vocals, and atmospheric synths that helped quickly build a fiercely loyal fan base.

Bolstered by the success of early 7" release on Hunter Burgan's (AFI) Checkmate Records label, as well as an E.P. on Chuck Phelp's (Skankin Pickle, Dill Records) Tomato Head Records, TSUNAMI BOMB set about conquering America the old fashioned way -- with incessant touring. Impressed with their fresh approach and tenacity, Joe Escalante (The Vandals) signed them to his Kung Fu Records label in 2002 and released their debut full-length "The Ultimate Escape" in September of that year. Despite continuing line-up changes to the band, TSUNAMI BOMB continued to tour constantly worldwide, including a headlining slot on the 2003 summer Warped Tour, with Davi himself, leaving the band at summer's end. TSUNAMI BOMB released a second full-length, "The Definitive Act" in the fall of 2004. After more touring over the next year, the band would release a live concert DVD that would prove to be the last release, as TSUNAMI BOMB finally came to an end in the fall of 2005.

Fast forward to 2016, where due to fan demand Kung Fu Records has collected the early, now out-of-print and rare E.P.'s into a 14 track collection, "Trust No One". On the heels of this announcement, the original TSUNAMI BOMB line-up of bassist Dominic Davi, keyboardist/vocalist Oobliette Sparks, drummer Gabe Lindeman, and guitarist Brian Plink have reunited along with new vocalist Kate Jacobi to support this new release. Performing two sold out shows a the end of 2015, this new rejuvenated TSUNAMI BOMB shows no signs of retiring, and has announced selected tour dates throughout the US for 2016.
The Droogettes
The Droogettes
The Droogettes were formed in Philadelphia by Rachel Starlett (Bass) and Jen Reiling (vocals) in the fall of 2012. After years of various line up changes the current line up has been together for over a year with Elija Bolt (guitar) and Ginger Knight (drums). The Droogettes vision was clear from their earliest conception, to provide the Punk and Oi! movement with an all-female alternative to a scene that is mostly dominated by males.

Taking the 7 Seconds song "Not Just Boys Fun" literally, these girls want to provide a voice, not just for a generation, but with a female's outlook and perception. This clockwork group of gals play Punk & Oi! influenced by bands like The Business, The Oppressed, Blitz and Cock Sparrer.
In 2014, their Self Titled EP was produced by Arik Victor (Kill your Idols/ The Casualties) A split 7 inch with Scotland’s own External Menace followed in 2015. A recent split 7 inch / CD with UK punk legends, Vice Squad was released in 2017 on Rebel Sound and Violated Records. Currently the girls have been in the studio and just finished the final mixes on their full length album “Clockwork Girls” on Violated Records, a subdivision of Creep Records.

The Droogettes have shared the stage with some great punk hierarchy so far, with support slots for bands such as: D.I., The Business, The Dickies, Infa Riot, The Vibrators and Slaughter & The Dogs. They have played internationally at England's largest DIY punk fest Rebellion in 2017 and are scheduled to return in August of 2018. In March of 2018 they are headed to play the Montreal Oi Fest which is being headlined by Bone Crusher and The Last Resort.

The Droogettes are out to prove they can rock as well as their male peers.

Recently they were listed under the editors pick for www.punknews.org of bands to watch out for in 2018.

“The Droogettes will kick your ass. This band takes the sing-songy coat of oi! and drapes it over a rough and tumble '77 punk attack. And more than that, beneath football style chants, there's often deep meaning at the foundation- for instance, they have a song that explores the concept of what makes someone commit violent acts… it's just that the tune is so catchy you rarely have enough time to catch a breath and think about. Having finalized their lineup, they've been in the studio finishing their debut LP, and if their stomping split with Vice Squad was any inclination, this LP will be classic and fresh at the same time.” -John Gentile
Lamplighters are a high energy punk rock band from Philadelphia. The band was formed in 2013 by guitarists Chris Vereb and Joe Gdowik, and bassist Mike Gebhardt. Fronted by a trio of vocalists who also share songwriting duties, Lamplighters create fast paced melodic punk anthems about life, death, and the pursuit of good times. After releasing their debut LP, the band solidified its current lineup with the addition of Seeing Snakes’ drummer Brian McClure in 2015. Lamplighters returned to the studio in late 2015 with a renewed drive, resulting in some of their strongest material to date. Those songs would later be released as a self-titled EP on Phameless Records in June 2016. Lamplighters are currently in the studio recording a follow-up LP which is due out in early 2017. With an energetic live show and plans to tour more extensively in support of their upcoming LP, Lamplighters are a band to keep your eye on in 2017.
