Bogi Trifunovic, David Frebo, and Marc Jaffee make up the base of psychedelic/ fusion/rock/jam band, Kingfisher. Coming together through each of their schools jazz bands, they put each of their own personality and soul into the songs which creates a diverse flowing river of musical goodness. Kingfisher frequently improvises during sets to create a new experience and sound at every show. The playful yet serious, simple yet creative, planned yet spontaneous nature of the band's music creates an always exciting and ever changing show that will make your ears say "thank you" as they float ceaselessly down the river of sound.
Auburn Row
We live in a world with the general perception that rock music is a dying art form. Auburn Row seeks to challenge that notion.

The Connecticut-born rock quartet has been creating driving rock concoctions for the past five years and has no plans to slow down anytime soon. Auburn Row was originally formed in 2012 through a combination of mutual friendships and other failed projects. Though the past few years have been multi-focused for each of its members, the band is ready to break into the music scene now more than ever before.

Auburn Row has built a passionate following throughout Connecticut due to their live performances at venues such as Toad’s Place, the Webster Underground and the Space (among others.) They opened for rock band Taproot in 2013 and performed at the 2016 Halloween at the Catskills Festival in East Durham, New York. The band members have ties to Philadelphia, Boston, Providence and numerous other cities through their vast college networks and devoted (yet widespread) fan-base.

The band creates their original material from a vast variety of influences- including classic rock, modern rock, metal and jazz. Lyrically, they tackle numerous topics applicable to the lives of most people. These topics have included heartache, the importance of individuality, and the value of each and every life. In an album critique from 2016, Music Connection Magazine praised the band’s “prog-rock precision” and emphasized the group’s “soulful subtleties.”

Auburn Row is Alex Cross (vocals/keys/bass), Mike Racine (guitar), Jerrod Ravid (guitar/vocals) and Andrew Moore (drums/vocals). The band’s long-awaited debut album, The World Outside, was released in May of 2015. They recently recorded a new EP, A World Divided, slated for release in summer of 2017. Auburn Row is proving that passion and dedication can still create success in an ailing music industry, and they intend to do whatever is necessary to reach the high altitude of their ambitions.
Heart For Hire
Fusing raw, honest lyrics with heart-pounding drum grooves and guitar riffs, it’s hard to forget Heart for Hire’s fresh, yet simultaneously nostalgic sound. Often compared to acts such as Taking Back Sunday and the Starting Line, the band is sure to tip their hats to long-time influences while adding elements of modern alternative rock to the mix.

Founded in the Fall of 2013, Heart for Hire is comprised of members from the York, PA and Baltimore, MD areas. Not long after their formation, the band released their debut EP, "Run With It" in April 0f 2014. The group has since then gone on to share the stage with multiple national acts, as well as perform on a stop of the Vans Warped Tour.

In September 2016, the group hit the studio with producer Paul Leavitt to record their second EP. The release entitled, "Safe Inside My Own Head" dropped December 27th, 2016. Safe Inside My Own Head shows off a new, fearless side of Heart for Hire, while simultaneously remaining true to their roots. Tracks like the EP’s single, “Criticize,” and "I'm Not Here for Apologies" feature minor progressions, aggressive vocals, and unapologetic lyrics which are sure to resonate within each listener.
