Tioga
Tioga
The name “Tioga,” used to describe a place between two points, a middle ground, or a gateway, originates from Native American tribes whose range encompassed what is now the Philadelphia area.
In the case of TIOGA (the band), the name seemed to fit their vision: Philadelphia, PA serves as the middle point for what each of the members has brought to the table. Coming from different towns, musical backgrounds, and lifestyles, these four musicians have found their common ground in TIOGA.
Vanderlyle
Vanderlyle
Vanderlyle is an indie rock group based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Formed in October 2016, the band’s style favors piano and synth-driven melodies, tight guitar lines, layered harmonies, all backed by a robust rhythm section. After debuting in September 2017 with the single, “Just a Friend,” the outfit released their follow-up single, “Breaking Through,” in January 2018. The band plans to release their debut EP in Spring 2018.
Dominy
Dominy
Dominy is a Philadelphia based indie-rock singer-songwriter. While active as a solo act for years, in late 2016 John added guitarist Michael Youngkin, keyboardist Alex Dominy and drummer Zak Iannitelli to the line up and began playing venues and developing a unique blend of raucous southern rock infused with surf vibes. Dominy has quickly gained a reputation for high energy showmanship and concise, irreverent, hook-riddled songwriting. John’s first album, ‘Atlantic Coast,’ was released on BlixYZ records in July 2016. The band spent the summer of 2017 at Gradwell House studios in Hadden Heights recording Dominy’s second as-yet-to-be-named follow up album, which is due out late this fall.
