The Telescopes
The Telescopes are the creative vision of Stephen Lawrie with a revolving line up.  Formed in 1987, they released their first record in 1988, a split flexi-disc with Loop.  A string of releases followed for Cheree Records, What Goes On Records and
Creation Records, each one hitting the higher reaches of the UK independent charts, some of them making it into the UK mainstream charts.
The Cult of Lip

"In a micro-scape of blinking lights, the psychedelic is always on the mind but so is the drag of it." - Kissin Alleys

Flower Girl
Flower Girl
Wandering the Philadelphia psychedelic underground since 2004, with 8 releases on their own Circus Peanut imprint, Flower Girl go for the improvised approach stretching out their instrumental sounds into flowing acid rock epics full of variation, the mellow and delicate colliding with some wonderful interludes of noise.

Quotes:

" . . . a lost Kosmiche classic or a hidden nugget from the Japanese underground."

"It’s like Flower Girl sought to answer that age old question “what happens if I press this shiny red button?"

" . . . a gorgeous melody before building to a sonic dust-up . . . through a range of moods and emotions."

---Ian Fraser, Terrascope Online

"Lay back, close your eyes and let Flower Girl take you on a technicolour trip . . . “

" . . . acid riffing, soaring guitar solos, hypnotic drums. Each crescendo followed by a mellow come down with lysergic noodling and and blissed out atmospheres.”

" . . . like the Stooges utterly wasted on triple strength acid.”
---Dave Gedge, Bad Acid
